See what our employees say about ALC:

Working at Austin Learning Center has been a very rewarding experience. Becky is an amazingly positive influence and her energy and enthusiasm motivate her employees to be their best at all times. At ALC I know that I will always have the encouragement and support of my boss, as well as the opportunity to collaborate at any time with talented and caring coworkers. In my position, I've been given the freedom to develop my own solutions to any issues that have arisen and I've been able to be involved in multiple projects over and above my standard job description. Every day here is a new challenge and it is exciting to be a part of a growing business. I am forever grateful for the opportunities I've had to learn from an exceptional group of coworkers, interact with great students and families, and create lasting friendships.

Of all of those places I have worked doing subject tutoring and SAT/ACT prep, Austin Learning Center puts the greatest emphasis on the needs of the individual student, and goes the furthest to meet those needs.  We really do care about our kids!

I am so thankful for having the opportunity to work at Austin Learning Center as a tutor for nearly three years. I began tutoring while studying at the University of Texas and right from the start it was a very welcome change from my previous jobs. I was able to create a schedule that was perfect for me working with a variety of students from the age of six up to eighteen. Getting to know them and helping them achieve their goals has been extremely rewarding. Also, my coworkers are intelligent people with exciting ambitions, and I've developed many lasting friendships. No matter what questions I've ever had, I was always able to find an answer among the brilliant minds at ALC. Lastly, Becky is the most fantastic (most fantastic?) boss I could ever hope to have. She is understanding and thoughtful, and she has always had faith in me and encouraged my abilities. Becky has become a dear friend to me over the years and I will always appreciate the opportunity she gave me. Overall, working at Austin Learning Center has been an immense pleasure. My experiences here have given me confidence and served as an impetus in my ultimate realization that helping others is the most fulfilling aspect of life. I will always remember my time at ALC as rewarding, fun and a blessing.
